Road Trip!

Four days ago, Aaron, Jen, and I embarked on an exciting adventure. An adventure that included over 30 hours in the car and many stops along the way. The 30 hours (each way) in the car was decided ahead of time that it was going tom be fun. It was. We cruised through the first 8 hours and made a pit stop in Virginia for the night. With an early rise, we got a good jump on the 15 hour trek ahead of us.

At about 7:30 we encountered the biggest problem of the trip. Chipotle closes at 10according to the GPS we would arrive just past 10. Everyone hearts were set on that juicy burrito and to come this close but fall short would be devastating. Aaron took it upon himself to make sure we got their on time. We scooted up to the parking lot at 9:57. Three minutes to spare. Mission Accomplished.

After getting settled at Aaron's aunts and uncles, we watched some TV, ate our Chipotle, and went to bed.

On Wednesday, we went for the first ride in Clear Bay Oklahoma, right near Oklahoma City. It was awesome. Kind of similar to Sewel and Fairhill combined, with sand!

Here's a video

We got back and i began to learn the correct technique to wash a bike. Following Aaron's every move my bike looked as bad as normal after cleaning it but it look me 5 times longer. We went out to dinner at the best barbecue place Ive ever had. I tried Fried Okra. It was fantastic.

Got up the next morning to pick up Matt. We went to a place to ride straight from the airport and road. It was even better than the day before. The berms were everywhere and it was twistier than a maze. It was so fun.

Another stop at chipotle and a nap!
