On the way to Wellsborough Ed got his first Dunkin donuts flat bread sandwich. Which is pretty much my normal pre race meal. I showed up at the race cutting it close with not that much time to warm up and register. I pulled up to the start line to see Madison there which I was not expecting. I'm very glad he had a good recovery!!! I went hard off the line, maybe a little to hard. I just couldn't hang right with Madison and Julian on the first hill. I could however see them in front of me. As I was climbing the hill i couldn't help but think how hard it must be for Ed to be doing in on a single speed.

He didn't seem to have a problem!!!!
I suffered through the race, knowing it was more of a preparation for bear creek. I finished the race in third place behind Madison and Julian.

We then drove home and had to stop some where for something to eat.....
COUNTRY WESTERN
Before
AfterThat was the biggest banana split i ever saw, he ate it in like 30 seconds. We then went back to the cabin and cleaned are bikes.

The next day was ringwood. It is located at a beautiful lake...

The race was a lot harder then I remember it being. There was some exteamley technical sections towards the end of the lap.

I got second of about 9 or 10 and it was a fun course. So i would say the weekend was a blast. Now I have to start and getting ready for bear creek!!
