Rain Rain Go Away!!

Two weeks ago was the MACDC camp! It was a blast, a muddy blast, but still awesome. The weekend started off with some setting up, a movied, some groupd building actvities, and a night ride. Zach, Jeff, Jacob and i went on a a pretty fun little tide in the dark, 1/2 way through however it started raininga nd we headed back. We needed a good nights sleep for the long upcoming ride. We had a early rise, after we had to go on a run!! It was super hard cause i haven't run since cross country season. After a core workout and a hardy breakfast of pancakes and bacon we were set for the ride. We went on a killer super duper long ride and it was awesome!! We were out there for 7 hours, and road some incredible trails. We came back and everyone was shot! After a helpfull Q&A with visit pa and a instructional bike maintance lesson from Morgan, everyone was ready for dinner and a movie. After the movie and anothe night ride for Jeff, Jacob, Zach and me, i finally went to bed. The next day was anothe really fun ride hitting all kinds of fun trails. After we got back we had lunch and cleaned up. Thanks to Hillary, Morgan, and Mr and Mrs Davidson!!

The next weekend was the Marysvile Relay! I think any marysville race is 0ne of my favoite races. Everything is always run so smoothly and the course is always great. I went up with Mr. Miller and Kyle who is doing well and apparently healing nicely. I went 2nd in the order aftet zach, jacob following me and Jeff last. We got 16 laps in my fastest being a 14:57 or something and we got 10 as a team! After Marysville I went back to Zachs house for a road race the following day.
The road race was super interseting. From what i herd people saying they were super displeased with the course even though it was most likely better for me. There were spots where the gravel was so deep you coudn't see the botton of you front wheel. The race went down like this, we went out slow till we got around a first corner down a road and then onto a gravel climb, once we hi thte gravel we were off everyone sprinted up the hill. Then compltley slowed down again because on the backside was a tricky corner where people went down and crashed. Up the hill down some more gravel roads and around the trickiest corner ever. It was a left hadn turn off a gravel road onto one. I took it wide into somebody yard and handeled it quite nicley. From there on i really had no idea where i was compared to everyone else so i just road as hard a i could. I lost the sprint for 3rd by inches and was kinda bumed but oh well i didnt flat and didnt crash which was more then a lot of people coulda said.
