The Bulldog rump is one of my favorite races, the course is so awesome. The race is so nice that I don't even mind the long ride up there. Finally a race where I wasn't scrambling to make the start. I had plenty of time to warm up and check out the course. My dad told me that Bike Reg said one of the kids in my class was riding for Rocky Mountain. I was a little worried. We pulled up to the start line and he had a tricked out bike. I was a little more worried. The race started and I felt really really good, I was moving. I got to the front before we went into the single track. I was out in front with two kids on my tail. The rocky mountain kid, and Marshall were on my tail. I tried to drop them and it worked for a while until Marshal came up behind me. I dropped him again, but then from behind I saw the rocky mountain kid. He was about 15 seconds behind me the entire race. The final lap I kicked it up and got a big lead. There was a hill to up to the finish. I wasn't even at the top when he reached the bottom. This Rocky Mountain kid really pushed me. The Campmor races are really fun but really far. They are not usually run the smoothest. At the Bulldog we had to wait 2 hours for awards. I beat the Rocky Mountain kid my about 10 seconds.

That's cool that you were racing the kid from Rockey Mountain. Do you know what the night tt course is like at Marysville? All I know is that it's like 5 miles.
a trials course would be sick. i have a feeling that the weekend is gonna be fun. my dad isn't racing this one though, i have no idea why he's not.
