Lewis Morris Challenge

This was a fun race.  I just raced Sewel the day before so I was a little tired, but felt good enough to race.  My Dad got lost on the way really  bad.  We came flying though the park at like 50 mph just to make my start.  I got the bike off the car he signed me up and I was ready to go.  I didn't have time to warm up so I tried to chug down a hammer gel.  Bad choice.  I was puking within 30 seconds.  I threw up all the good stuff i ate all morning and felt sick.  I pulled up to the starting line, with next to know time to spare.  I felt horrible the first climb and was towards the middle of the pack.  After that i got myself into first place and led the rest of the race.  The course was super tight and curvy with a fair amount of climbing.  There was a cool lake near the start and a beach.  All of the Campmor races are at really cool locations and are run really smoothly!!

Very nice young dude. I finally caught up and read your last 4 posts or so. It's been a very good couple weeks for you, but it's only going to get better. Find me up at Danville and we'll talk. I'll be camping all weekend. Peace out.

Gunnar,

Nice job! That was a perfect race for us since we get to train on some much more technical courses.
